About the course

Perinatal mental health care calls for thoughtful identification, clear assessment, and compassionate intervention. This training from Bailey’s Counseling Service includes six core narrated modules and Clinical Case Application: From Perinatal Screening to an Individualized Care Plan. Follow a fictional postpartum client through screening interpretation, further assessment and safety considerations, individualized intervention, referral, follow-up, and documentation. The seven videos total approximately 6 hours and 16 minutes, including the 57-minute case lesson. Complete all seven videos, then pass the 35-question final assessment with at least 80%, and submit the course evaluation. Allow additional time for the assessment and evaluation. Approved by the NASW-NC Peer Review Board for 6 CE contact hours. Approval number A-449-7302026. Course approved through July 31, 2027.
